This research explores the theoretical foundations of using electronic dictionaries in translating English materials into Uzbek. It discusses the necessity of creating a linguistic database for translation programs from foreign languages into Uzbek due to the lack of research on machine translation in Uzbek computational linguistics. The research focuses on simple sentences, phrases, and their grammatical descriptions in English and Uzbek, as well as the development of linguistic support frameworks for English-Uzbek translation programs.
