This document explores the concept of cooperative learning in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) classrooms. It discusses the main peculiarities, elements, and types of cooperative learning, as well as strategies for creating cohesive learner groups. The advantages of cooperative learning, including its impact on academic achievement, are examined, along with the roles of teachers and students in the process. Research findings on cooperative learning are also presented in this research.
