Jizzakh Region is one of the regions of Uzbekistan located in the center/east of the country. It shares borders with Tajikistan, Samarqand Region, Navoiy Region, Kazakhstan, and Sirdaryo Region. The region covers an area of 20,500 km² with a population estimated to be around 910,500, with 80% living in rural areas.
