Education in Uzbekistan is generally managed by the Ministry of Kindergartens and Schools and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations, along with some other agencies and bodies responsible in certain areas as prescribed by the President of Uzbekistan. The education system includes a variety of institutions such as kindergartens, schools (both government and private), universities, and non-governmental preschool educational institutions. The system also focuses on the development of industries and the percentage of scientists with a scientific degree. There are also quotas for doctorate places and efforts towards wage growth and the reconstruction of schools to accommodate the number of student places.
