Emergency medical service is a form of providing medical care at the emergence of diseases and conditions demanding emergency medical care to prevent harm to health or eliminate threats to life. The EMS organization provides round-the-clock emergency medical care to adults and children in life-threatening conditions such as accidents and serious illnesses, both on-site and en route. All EMS stations and offices are equipped with automated control systems for satellite monitoring of medical transport and record systems for call reception.
