Ibrahim I, being the son of the sultans of the Uzunid dynasty, was captured in 1615 and known as "Crazy Ibrahim" due to his complex and contradictory reign. He was imprisoned in a secluded corner of the Istanbul palace during the rule of his brother Murad IV, where he had no experience with state affairs
