Uzbek national clothes are very bright, beautiful, and cozy. They are a part of rich cultural traditions and the lifestyle of Uzbek people. While traditional Uzbek clothes are uncommon in urban places except on festivities and holidays, they are still a part of everyday and holiday garments in rural areas. Men's traditional clothing includes a chapan, tubeteika, kuylak, ishton, and high-boots. Shirts, including the yakhtak wrap shirt, are common, with a decorated miniature braiding called jiyak along the collar.
