Abu Sahl Iso ibn Yahyo al-Masihiy was born around 970-971 in Jurjan (northern Iran). He later moved to Khorezm and lived there until 1011, where he became acquainted with Abu Rayhan al-Biruni and Ibn Sina. His works suggest a close connection to Beruni and Ibn Sina
