Mahsulot tavsifi

Parotid gland is the largest of three main salivary glands in the oral cavity. It weighs between 14-28 grams and contributes 60-65% of the total salivary volume. It is shaped as an irregular, wedge-shaped unilobed structure. The parotid region is located between the ramus of the mandible, extending upward to the zygomatic arch, downward to the angle of the mandible, anteriorly to cover part of the masseter muscle, and posteriorly to overlap the sternocleidomastoid muscle.
